Herman Henry Spomer, 62, died Friday, December 20, 1980 of an apparent heart attack at the Georgia Pacific gypsum plant where he was working as a night watchman. He was born November 21, 1918 in Gilead, Nebraska, the son of John and Lydia Spomer. He come to Kane when he was two years old and has made his home in Lovell since that time. He married Elizabeth Fink May 6, 1938 in Billings, Montana.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth of Lovell; three sons, Melvin of Manford, Oklahoma, Kenneth of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and James of Gillette, Wyoming; one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Hatcher of Powell, Wyoming; three brothers, George of Greybull, Wyoming, Ben of Powell, Wyoming, and Edwin of Cheyenne, Wyoming; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Gams of Powell, Wyoming, Mrs. Esther Wagner of Cody, Wyoming, and Mrs. Ruth Miller of Lovell, Wyoming; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral Services are pending at Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell.
