Aberdeen --- Mass of Christian Burial for Ella K. Bosch, 86, of Aberdeen and formerly of Roscoe, will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, with Father Edward Pierce, celebrant.
Rite of committal will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
Ella died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Ipswich.
Ella K. Kirschenman was born May 11, 1922, in Hosmer to Gottlieb and Christina (Mayer) Kirschenman. She grew up and attended school in Roscoe.
Ella married Leo Bosch on Nov. 1, 1945, in Roscoe. After their marriage, they moved to Aberdeen, where they raised two children, Jerry and Harvey. Ella was a devoted housewife and also did volunteer work. She and her husband enjoyed spending time at their lake cabin during the summer months. Leo died May 5, 2001, and Ella continued to make Aberdeen her home until she moved into Golden Living Center in Ipswich, where she lived for the past two years.
Ella was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing, watching Wheel of Fortune and making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.
Grateful for having shared Ella's life are her sons: Jerry (Judy Zimmerman) Bosch and Harvey (Martha) Bosch, both of Aberdeen; brother, Helmuth Kirschenman of Roscoe; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two step-grandchildren.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents, Gottlieb and Christina; husband, Leo; four sisters; and two brothers.
