JACKSONVILLE NC - Rose Sammataro Sutton, 75, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Britthaven of Onslow. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Jacksonville Chapel of Jones Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Her husband, Robert Sutton, and a grandson, Greyson Sutton, preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Doris Sutton of Jacksonville and Paula Sutton of Cedar Point; two sons, Robert Sutton Jr. of Wilmington and Michael Sutton of Raleigh; brother, Sebastino Sammataro of Pawcatuck, Conn.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 until 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Donations may be made to Britthaven of Onslow, Activity Dept., 1839 Onslow Dr., Jacksonville, N.C.
