Mrs. Dyer, 69, Ex-Tailor, Dies

North Baltimore- Mrs. Herbert Dyer (Modena August), 69, a native or North Baltimore died of a heart attack at 1 p.m. Tuesday in a Grand Rapids, Mich, hospital. Mrs. Dyer, who operated a tailor shop in North Baltimorefor 25 years, moved to Michigan in 1954. She had been in failing health for 20 years. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Willis (Mildred) Barnett, Avon; four sisters, Mrs. Ernest *Thenicie, Fairfield, Mich.; Mrs. Clair Halderman, North Baltimore; Mrs. Ray Stall, Findlay; and Mrs. Roy Russell, Los Angeles; three brothers, Hiram, Van Buren; Richard, Findlay and Theo, Cedar Springs, Mich;and two grandchildren. Mrs. Dyer was a member of First Methodist Church at North Baltimore, where the funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday. Rev. Robert L. Derrick will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rippeth Funeral Home, North Baltimore, today and Thursday.

****Born Modena August. Modena first married Grover Foltz. She had 3 children with him. Modena then married Herbert Andrew Dyer in 1954 and went to live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I have not been able to locate Grover Foltz burial place.***
