Fred P. Cason, 68, lifelong resident of Hamilton County, died this morning at his home in Genoa. He was a member of the Hamilton County Democratic Executive Committee for many years, a Mason, and a Woodmen of the World.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Mills Cason, two daughters, Mrs. John Thigpen of Jasper; Mrs. E.A. Spring of Miami, one son, Ray Cason of Jasper, two brothers, Alex Cason of Genoa, Jim Cason of Raleigh, Florida, two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Knight of Vero Beach and Mrs. Ollie Walker of Avon Park. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock in Reid Funeral Home Chapel, Jasper, with the Rev. J.A. Hendry, pastor of the Jasper Methodist Church, assisted by the Rev. C.A. Martin, of the Jasper Baptist Church in charge of services. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Jasper.
