Mrs. Della Watson Guthrie, 90, of 41 E. LaCrosse Avenue, Lansdowne, formerly of Prospect Park, died Friday October 13, 1972, in the Kearney Nursing Home, Sharon Hill, where she was a guest three weeks. Mrs. Guthrie, the widow of Thomas R. Guthrie, was born in Wilmington, DE August 27, 1883, the oldest daughter of Thomas Watson and Mary Elizabeth (Cael) Watson. She lived many years in Prospect Park, and a short time in Glenolden, before moving to Lansdowne about 1965. She was a member of the Friendly Class of Prospect United Methodist Church, Prospect Park, and formerly was active in Red Cross work. She is survived by a daughter, Frances W. Guthrie, at home; a sister Mrs. Mabel Taylor of Wilmington, and a brother Harry Ford of Atlantic City, NJ. Services will be 2 pm Tuesday at the McCausland Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden.
