Kenny was a truck driver for Howard Sober Inc. for 33 years, retiring in 1990. He was also a Jockey from 1948-1958. Kenny joined the Loyal Order of the Moose #1311 in 1959, where he served many offices including: Legion of the Moose in 1980, Fellowship Degree in 1993, Pilgrim Degree in 2000, Trustee in 1991-92, Three time Governor of Adams #1311 in 1992/93, 1993/94 and 1994/95, Third District President in 1995/96 and 1996/97, Legion of the Moose Limberlost #18 President 1996/97 and Selected Moose of the Year for the State of Indiana in 1996.
Surviving are, three daughters, Diana L. McGlone of Ft. Wayne, Denise A. (Arnold) Burkholder of Decatur and Karen S. (David) Knerr of Ft. Wayne; a step son, Scott Fuelling of Monroe; three step daughters, Kimberly (Ken) Bina of Vermont, Sandra (Steve) Sutton of Geneva and Audrey (Tom) Muselman of Berne; nine grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Timothy E. Durbin, a daughter Cheryl K. (Durbin) Teeple, two step sons Rodney and Joseph Fuelling, four brothers Daniel, Richard, John and William Durbin.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home, followed by a Noon Pilgrim Memorial. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials are to Mooseheart or American Cancer Society.
