David Samuel "Dave" Adler, age 63, died Friday, March 2, 2007, in Baton Rouge as the result of a motorcycle accident. Dave was born and raised in Monroe. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He resided in Baton Rouge where he was a barber for more than 30 years. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, March 11, from 4 p.m. until the memorial service at 6 p.m. He is survived by his daughter, Sandy McMillan of Fort Myers, Fla. He was preceded in death by his mother, his brother and his father, Saul Adler, all of Monroe. Dave loved tennis, health food and motorcycles and was a passionate LSU fan and athletics supporter. His patrons, good friends and family will truly miss this special man.
