Born Jan. 31, 1891, in Wood County, he was a rancher and farmer and owned and operated Daniel Wholesale Auto Parts, now Abilene Auto Supply. He attended Wood County schools, Mayo College in Commerce and Denton Sate Normal College. He married Nina Pearl Morrison Sept. 24, 1924 in Dallas.
Mr. Daniel had been a member of First Baptist Church since 1928 and was a member of the Men's Bible Class. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 195 RAM, Knights Templar Council No. 10 and the Farm Bureau. He also was a worthy patron of the Order of Eastern Star, Cora Posey Chapter No. 1072.
Mrs. Daniel preceded him in death.
Survivors include a brother, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
