SSGT John Ben Gay was a member of the Army and served our country for 3 years until Oct. 25, 1967 in Binh Long, South Vietnam. George died as a result of ground fire misadventure. His body was recovered. SSGT Gay is on panel 28E line 66 of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D. C.
