Mrs. Schacher Dies - Mrs. Margaret Schacher, 78, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bernard Baune, west of Woodburn where she had lived for the past two years. She had been a resident of Oregon for the past 12 years, coming from Elk, Wash. She was born at Sheboygan, Wisc., August 6, 1869. Survived by sons, C.H. Schacher of St. Paul, Minn., W.J. Schacher of San Diego, Cal., Albert J. Schacher of Cottonwood, Idaho, Joe and L.P. Schacher of Portland, A.E. of Hubbard; and daughters Margaret Baune of Woodburn, Emelia Grass (should be Gass) of McMinnville, Mary Novak of St. Paul, Minn., Leonor Wolf of Gaston; 29 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. this morning (Thursday) at St. Luke's Catholic church with interment in Calvary cemetery of Mt. Angel beside her husband, Chris, who died in 1944.
