Sherry L. Price - ERWIN
Sherry L. Price, 46, 915 North Elm Street, Erwin, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 13, 2009, at Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mrs. Price was born May 19, 1963, to the late Banner Lee Price and Iona Catherine Price of Unicoi. She lived her entire life in the local area. Sherry was a loving wife and mother who brought smiles to everyone who knew her. She attended Erwin Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a nephew, Benjamin Price, of Unicoi.
Survivors of Sherry Price include her loving husband, Daryl Price (Erwin, TN); three sons, Michael, Paul and Andrew Price (all of Erwin, TN); nine sisters, Mary Pauline Holden (Elizabethton, TN), Genevieve Rodifer and husband, John (Telford, TN), Elsie Thompson and husband, Dave (Jacksonville, FL), Jewel Price and fiance, Jerrell Peterson (Johnson City, TN), JoAnna Hammonds and husband, Henry (Johnson City, TN), Cathy Wilson and husband, Merle (Erwin, TN), Eva Price and special friend, Charles Harris, Verdia Campbell and husband, Richard, Margaret Wilson and husband, Mark (all of Unicoi, TN); four brothers, Elbert Price (Ohio), Lee Price and wife, Carol (Erwin, TN), Louie Price, David Price and wife, Teresa, (all of Unicoi, TN); several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved family pet of 13 years, Duke.
Memorial services for Sherry Price will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Erwin Pentecostal Holiness Church beginning at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Earl C. Ragland and Dr. Eugene Penland will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a college fund for Andrew Dylan Price, Sherry's son, through Clinchfield Federal Credit Union of Erwin.
