HILLSBORO--Albin P. Benish, age 65, passed away on Monday, November 14, 1988, at St. Josephs Memorial Hospital in Hillsboro. He was born on October 5, 1923, to Joseph and Josephine (Shaker) Benish. He was married on April 19, 1944, to Lydia Wood. He was a farmer and tavern owner in Hillsboro. Survivors include, his wife, Lydia of Hillsboro; a daughter, Carol Shear of Milwaukee; three sons, Tom (Judy) of Middleton, Steve (Alesa) of Hillsboro, and Daniel of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren; and four brothers, Joseph of California, Emil of La Farge, Edwin of Hillsboro, and Raymond of Hillsboro. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Albert, John, Adolph, and James; and three sisters, Agnes Jelinek, Helen Stanek, and Mary Cepek. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 1988, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Father James Ennis will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Friends may call at PICHA'S FUNERAL HOME in Hillsboro on Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Bible Vigil at 8:00 p.m., and also on Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the church.
