William Rowe was a farmer in Elk Township, Sanilac Michigan. He and his wife Catherine Gay Rowe, nee Nelmes were parents of 12 children all born in East Oxford County, near Woodstock Ontario. The family emigrated to the United States in 1877 and settled near Peck in Elk Township. Willam was buried in Elk County Cemetery near Peck on March 4, 1903. Catherine buried July 19, 1899. They are buried in Section H.
