DR. James G. Brenizer, pioneer of Custer county, Neb, residing in Broken Bow, is known as one of the most successful breeders of registered shorthorned cattle in Nebraska. Dr. Brenizer's settlement in the state dates from 1872 when he located at Nebraska City, and in 1879 began practice at Phillips, Hamilton county. In 1884 he went to Custer county and entered a homestead where he has since been engaged in farming and stockraising. He has been a successful exhibitor at the Nebraska state fair for number of years and raises not only cattle but hogs, and holds a large sale each winter. DR. Brenizer is a Republican in politics.
