Mr. Floyd Curtiss Watson passed away Saturday morning, December 31, 2005, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. The son of the late Rufus and Blanche Watson, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Watson.
Mr. Watson is survived by three nieces, Gladys Shepard of Leland, Myrtice Craig of Wilmington and Carrie Hale of Bowie, Maryland; along with several great- nieces and nephews.
Mr. Watson was superintendent of Sunday school at Shiloh United Methodist Church for 34 years.
The family will receive friends Sunday night January 1, 2005, at Coble Ward-Smith Oleander Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 2, at 1 p.m., at Shiloh United Methodist Church with interment following at the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church, Highway 87, Maco Rd., Leland, NC or Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC.
