Funeral services for Joe H. Elkins, a resident of Augusta for the past 36 years, who died yesterday morning at a local infirmary, will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the graveside in Westover Memorial Park. The Reverend G.M. Spivey and the Reverend Allen A. Phillips will officiate. Pallbearers will be N.F. Widener, John F. Street, J.M. Haynie, C.D. Widener, J.W. Thompson and W.A. Adkins. A bookkeeper for the A.R. Mustin Company, Mr. Elkins was 64 years of age at the time of his death. He was a native of Parksville, South Carolina, but made his home on Mounted Route 37, Milledgeville Road. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Martha Dorn Elkins; and three daughters, Mrs. William D. Henderson of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Misses Sara and Corrine Elkins, both of Augusta.
