Rosa Cox Louallen of Paron died April 30, 2001. She was 99. She was born April 27, 1902, in Reform. She was a housewife and a member of the Outreach for Christ Church in Benton. She was preceded indeath by her husband, Joe Louallen; one daughter, Rosemary Jordan; and three brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Mary Evelyn Louallen of Benton and Bobby and Betty Louallen of Paron; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alphia and Bud Scallion and Fern and Robert Parson of Paron; a son-in -law, Lincoln Jordan of Paron; a sister, Roxie Hester of paron; 7 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.Pallbearers are grandsons Ronnie Lattin, Jim Parson and Joey Scallion, and great-grandsons Chris Scallion, Russell Scallion and Stephen Parson. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Arnold, Jr., and D. B. Baldwin officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Bottom Cemetery.
