Mrs. Katherine (Kay) Louise Perry Tate, 83, of Ripley, died Jan. 17, 1993, 7;30 P.M. at Tippeh County Hospital after an extended illness. She was the widow of Dr. John E. Tate. She was a member of Ripley Presbyterian Church and a homemaker.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1993, 11 a.m. at McBride Funeral Home Chapel with Dr.Frank Brooks and Rev. William B. Everett officiating. Burial was in Tippah Memorial Gardens with McBride Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one son, Gene P. Tate, New Albany; 4 grandchildren: Paul R.Tate, Laura L. Doyle, Stephen S. Tate, and John L.Tate; 5 great-grandchildren.
