Mrs. Chresta Loa Nicholls, 80, a 57-year resident of Lovell, died in a Lovell hospital Wednesday morning after a long illness.

She was born Feb. 14, 1880 in Washington County, Utah, a daughter of Francis Marion and Noma Walton Hartley. She was married to Charles H. Nicholls, July 30, 1899, in St. George, Utah. The couple moved to Lovell in 1903.

Survivors include her husband of Lovell; three sons, Clyde Nicholls, Byron, Wyo., William Nicholls, Seattle, Wash., and Herbert Nicholls, Lovell; six daughters, Mrs. Erma Glasgow, Elmonte, Calif., Mrs. Jacie Bassett and Mrs. Annie Shumway, Lovell, Mrs. Noma Fales, LaBarge, Wyo., Mrs. Kate Cozzens, Deaver, Wyo., and Mrs. Hilma Wheat, Burbank, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Drucilla Brandshaw, Sheridan, Mont.; 26 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Big Horn Stake building in Lovell the Bishop Mark Robertson officiating.

Burial will be in the Lovell City Cemetery under the direction of the Haskell Funeral home.
