St. Marys - Mrs. Emma R. Botkin, 427 North Front Street. died at 1:55 a.m. Sunday, June 2, 1974, in Lima St. Rita's hospital. She was 82 years old.

The daughter of William and Agusta (Starr) Rhynard, she was born May 20, 1892, in St. Paris, Ohio.

Her husband Ollie Botkin, to whom she was married October 17, 1916, preceded her in death August 15, 1941.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Emily) Hunter and Mrs. George (Martha) Axe, both of St. Marys; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. The last of her family, she was preceded in death by six sisters.

Mrs. Botkin was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church. She was a retired office manager for the Scott-Miller Construction Company, in St. Marys.

Arrangements are in charge of Yoder-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Richard P. Coad officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
