Sheila Marie McCoy, 52, went to be with God Nov. 30, 2008, passing away at Community Hospice.
She was born April 29, 1956, in Grand Rapids, Minn., to Albert and Violet (Anderson) Essen. She lived in the Longview-Kelso area for many years.
Sheila married Clyde E. McCoy March 16, 1974. He survives her at home after 38 years of marriage.
She loved playing pool, camping, the outdoors and spoiling the grandkids. She was loved very much by family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Clyde, she is survived by her children, Clyde E. McCoy Jr., Robin E. Anderson, Kristy M. Huffman and David F.H. McCoy; her mother, Violet J. Centers; four brothers, James, Robert, Al and Kenny; two sisters, Terry and Paula; her lifelong friend, Marsha McGraw; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Longview American Legion, 1250 12th Ave.
