Born June 1, 1934 in Crescent, UT. Life-long active member of the LDS Church. Married Bruce Allen February 8, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. Homemaker, Valedictorian Utah State 1956, Masters degree, Deaf Education U of U 1985. She was teaching at Cottonwood H.S. She was an accomplished pianist and organist.Survivors: husband, Bruce Allen; Children: Bill Allen (Denver, CO), Therese Nelson (Chicago, IL), Clinton Allen (Des Moines, IA), Kristi Atwood (Milpitas, CA), Irvin Allen (Los Angeles., CA) and Martin Allen (Salt Lake City); brothers: Norman Fowler (Walnut Creek, CA) and Murray Fowler (Davis, CA), and Sister, Aileen Freckleton (Bountiful, UT).
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 3, 1998 at 12 noon, in the Monument Park 20th ward, 2795 E. Crestview Dr., Salt Lake City. A visitation will be held Friday evening 6-8 PM at the 20th Ward Chapel and from 10:30- 11:30 the day of the services. Funeral Directors: Larkin Mortuary.
