Justin A. McDowell, 23, of Springville, passed away Tuesday April 10, 2007. Born on March 14, 1984, in Midwest City, Okla., he was the son of Jon McDowell and Kathy (Haag) McDowell. He was a machine operator at Bedford Machine and Tool. Surviving are his parents of Springville; two brothers, B.J. and Maria McDowell and Matthew McDowell both of Springville; his companion, Sarah Parker of Bedford; paternal grandparents, Opal and Mary McDowell of Springville; maternal grandparents, Bill and Janet Haag of Bedford; maternal great grandmother, Loeva Haag of Springville; two nephews, Logan and Hayden McDowell of Springville and several other loving relatives. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, Gerald Haag; and his maternal great-grandmother, Hilda Toothman. Justin loved his family and friends, racing, fishing, music and the outdoors. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Jim McDowell and the Rev. Kevin Giggy officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca.
