Mrs. James W. Browder, Sr. (Julia Evelyn Barfield), 47 of Greeleyville died suddenly of a heart attack at her home this afternoon.
Surviving are her husband of Greeleyville, four sons and three daughters; James W. Browder of Summerville, Sgt Marion S. Browder, who is in hospital in North Africa; Calvin W. Browder of Camp Barkley, Texas, and Fred L. Browder of Greeleyville; Mrs. Howard L Davis (Vivian) of Erie, Pa., Mrs. Evelyn Law of Sumter and Miss Lou Elma Browder of Greeleyville; four brothers and two sisters, Richard B. Barfield of Miley, Arthur Barfield of Sumter, Barney Barfield of Charleston, Julius Barfield of Sumter, Mrs. T. B. Cutter (Mellie O. "Doolie") of Summerton, Mrs. T. R. David (Carrie Lee) of Florence and one grandchild.
Mrs. Browder before her marriage was Miss Julia Barfield of Greeleyville. She was a member of the Greeleyville Baptist Church.
