David A. Pattison Succumbs to long Illness Tuesday in Tulsa

David A. Pattison, 43, a pioneer citizen of Osage county and Hominy died Tuesday evening at 8:30 in St. Johns Hospital at Tulsa after suffering several years of stomach trouble. Funeral arrangements have not been definately arranged. The tentative plan being to bring the body home today and conduct the services at the Presbyterian church Saturay afternoon, all depending upon the arrival of a sister from California.

He leaves a wife and four little daughters aged from eight years to five months. Besides his wife and children he is survived by four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Lula McKenzie of Tulsa, R.C. Pattison and A.B. Pattison of Hominy. Lewis H. Pattison, Hugh J. Pattison and Mrs. Ruby Hopper of Glendale, California.

He was the son of L.C. and Sarah Pattison who came to the Osage reservation from Dexter, Kansas in 1889. He was born there on April 5, 1886. He was married in California about 10 years ago to Bertha Ashworth, a granddaughter of J.M. Landsaw. The deceased spent boyhood and early manhood in this county and was well known and liked by both white and Indians. He was a member of the W.O.W. fraternity. The body will be placed to rest in the Hominy cemetery by the side of his brother H.C. Pattison who died here four years ago.
