Grandin - Mr. B. A. Smith (1858-1936) died Monday morning, 28 Dec 1936, at his home here. Mr. Smith came to Grandin six years ago from Arcadia, Florida, where he had resided some eighteen years. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Williams of Melrose at the Paran church and the burial was in Paran cemetery.
He is survived by his wife and three sons and two daughters. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Saturday, 2 Jan 1937.)
