Philip Manley Seigler Sr., 54, died Monday at Alachua General Hospital.
A native of Grandin, he had lived in Gainesville for 15 years, coming from Crawford. He was an agribusiness co-owner at Seigler Farms in Grandin. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Gainesville.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jowers Seigler.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Mitchell Seigler of Gainesville; two daughters, Debi Sexton of Earleton, Lynn Graziano of Gainesville; two sons, Philip M. Seigler Jr. of Jacksonville, Billy Seigler of Gainesville; six sisters, Velma Quick of Floral City, Betty Williams of St. Simons Island, Ga., Marcia Lee of Beaumont, Texas, Marilou Glidden of Pittsburgh, Doria Seigler Collins of Jacksonville, Norma Simpson of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Maurice V. Seigler of Jacksonville and Donald T. Seigler of Melrose; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Westside Baptist Church in Gainesville with the Rev. Gary Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Paran Baptist Church Cemetery in Grandin.
