Born in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Judson and Iva Webb McCraw. She had lived all of her life in the Greenville area and was associated with the textile industry for many years.
Mrs. Hamilton was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church and the Ladies Bible Class of the Sunday School.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Lee Hamilton, who died in 1971.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Hamilton Sayer of Greenville; a son, Walter Edward Hamilton of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Mrs. James (Mae) Tate of Greenville and Mrs. Joyce M. Rogers of Hyattsville, MD; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Washington Avenue Baptist Church. Interment will be in West View Cemetery in Easley.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
