Mr. and Mrs. William Baird, and daughter Leona, of Mutual attended the funeral of William Baird's father, who died from a severe case of dropsy Monday. Robert Baird was seventy-five years of age, born in Scotland and came to this country 40 years ago, he has been residing in Helper for the last six years. Funeral services were held in Helper. The body was then taken to Price for burial, Thursday.

Mr. Baird was born in Scotland and spent most of hsi life as a coal miner in the various camps of Carbon county. He retired about six years ago and settled in Helper. Interment was in the Price City Cemetery.
