JAMES ALLEN BAIRD
Our precious husband, father, grandfather and brother, James Allen Baird, died April 2, 1992, in a Salt Lake hospital.
Born March 2, 1927, Latuda, Utah, son of Robert and Fannie Farrish Baird. Married Nancy Darlene Lawley, February 10, 1947, Standardville, Utah; marriage later solemnized Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 5, 1963. Member LDS Church. Lifelong resident of Carbon County. Former employee of Liberty Coal Co. Served U.S. Army.Survived by his wife, Darlene, Price; two sons, three daughters, Allen and Elizabeth Baird,
Janet and Joseph Maestas, both Castle Dale; Dave and Elsie Baird, Jeanie and Lenny
Memmott, both Price; JoAnn Cotterman, West Jordan; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Besso, Price. Preceded in death by parents, three brothers, two sisters, two grandchilden and son-in-law.
Funeral services Monday, 2 p.m., Mitchell Chapel in Price. Family will be at Mitchell's Sun. evening 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Friends may call daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Interment: Price City Cemetery.
