Madge Lois Verran, 78, of Greeneville, died Saturday at Life Care Center of Greeneville following a brief illness.
She worked earlier in life at Greene Valley Developmental Center as switchboard operator and was a homemaker.
Ms. Verran was a member of Hardin's Chapel United Methodist Church.
"She had a wonderful talent of art, enjoying painting and decorating. One of her most memorable moments was a trip to Spain with her sister, Charlotte Scott," her family noted.
