The son of Andrew Bernice Yates & Nannie Lou (Brimberry) Yates

Services for Harold Dean Yates age 64, of Grapeland will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Sunset Christian Church with Bro. Davy Hobson and Dr. Vance Drum officiating. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel, Grapeland. Mr. Yates died Wednesday at his residence. He was born January 8, 1945 in Grapeland to Andrew and Nannie Lou Brimberry Yates. Mr. Yates was a life long resident of Grapeland and a member of Sunset Christian Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was a self employed rancher. Mr. Yates was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter Cindy Hill and husband Mike of Huffman, sons Guy Yates and Will Yates and wife Tracy, a sister Frances Edge and a brother Larry Yates all of Grapeland and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Pete Watson, Phil Sanders, Randy Lively, Ralph Brown, Trevor Yates, Travis Yates, Gerald Lively and Ty Yates. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Smith, Drake Smith, Dennis Brunson and Joe Watson. Condolence calls will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel, Grapeland.
