Shelby J. Kelly, 71, born Feb. 14, 1938 in Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
Shelby lived in the Sierra Vista, Ariz., area and worked at Buena High School for more than 26 years, finishing her career as head of the school's security department.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Airline, and brother, Lonnie.
She is survived by and is loved by her husband, Jesse; son, Robert; daughter, Valerie; grandchildren, Tiffany and Jesse Raymond; great-grandchildren, Shelby and Marley Ann; her brother, Ronnie; sister, Frieda; and many other loving family and friends.
Services will be held at noon on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Hatfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
