CLARENCE O. (FAT) WEHLING
Funeral services for Clarence O. (Fat) Wehling, 75, 210 South Saddle Road, who died Thursday morning, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. (PHOTO)
The Rev. Richard C. Hedger will officiate and burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery.
Wehling was born east of Bison April 30,1903, and farmed in the Bison, Hennessey and Marshall areas. He and Nora Perry Miller were married June 9, 1947 in Waukomis.
They lived west of Marshall until Aug. 1,1951, when they moved to a farm southeast of Thayer, Kan., where we was a farmer-stockman until ill health forced his retirement. The Wehlings moved to Enid Dec. 18, 1976.
In addition to his wife Nora of the home, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Thelma) Cross of Enid; two sons, Rex Wehling, Douglas and Max Wehling, Dorrance, Kan.; his mother, Mrs. Rena Wehling, Enid; a stepson, Raymond L Miller, Enid; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Ted of Enid, Charles, Fairmont, Dale of Bison, Glen (bottom cut off; missing brother would be Jack)
