Dalton was a son of Theophilus Webb "Webb" Caraway and Effie Catherine Power Caraway.

Miss Fannie Johnson returned home Sunday afternoon after spending a while with R W Caraway and family.
Miss Pearl Pridgeon is spending a while with R. C. Caraway* and family. *(Refers to Rufus Curtis Caraway and his wife, Shellie Lee Pridgeon Caraway. Pearl was one of Shellie Lee's sisters.)
