Connie Cummings was born June 30, 1913, the daughter of Charles Alma and Hidvie Trolson Cummings. She attended school at Millville, South Cache High School and at Utah State University.
On June 29, 1937, Connie and Edward Samuel Knowles were married in the Logan Temple. Ed was born in Avon, Utah, the son of Edward Austin and Elizabeth Jane Smith Knowles. He attended Avon Grade School and South Cache High School, and he has lived on a farm all of his life.
Ed and Connie made their home in Millville.
Connie held many positions in the Church. She enjoys singing, and she sang with the Singing Mothers for many years. She was a charter member of the Lusannah G. Hovey Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed handiwork, quilt-making and gardening.
In addition to serving in many LDS Church positions, Ed served on the Town Board for four years and was Deputy Assessor for many years.
Ed and Connie are the parents of four children: Mondell Edward (Ilene Richman), Karla Jane (Jerry Rogers), Charlene (Larry Mathews) and Faye Marie (David Burton).
