My brother-in-law, Bobby Joe Davenport died at his home on Standing Springs Road at the age of 57 years. Bobby was a former employee of Judson Mills in Greenville, South Carolina; served in the United States Army and attended Christ United Methodist Church.
Bobby Joe was the son of the late Marvin Davenport Sr.
At the time of his death, He was survived by his mother, Bertha Lee Roberson(Davenport)Hinton of Greenville, South Carolina.
In addition to his mother Bobby Joe Davenport was survived by one daughter, Lisa Davenport Blazer of Gainesville, Georgia; two sons, Bill Davenport of Gainesville, Georgia and Kenny Davenport of Pendergrass, Georgia. His children are from a marriage to Dale Few.
In addition to his children, he was survived by one sister, Bernice Davenport Daniel of Greenville, South Carolina and two half-sisters, Dorothy D. Hinton Cox and Mary Hinton Mason of Greenville, South Carolina and two brothers, Marvin Davenport Jr. of Greenville, South Carolina and Billy Davenport of LaPorte, Texas and two half-brothers, Furman D. Hinton and Freddie Hinton of Greenville, South Carolina.
Funeral Services were held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel.
