ANDERSON, James D. "Andy", age 79 of Dayton passed away Sunday, June 11, 1995 at Miami Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his sister, Grace Allen and brothers, Virgil and Sterling. He is survived by his wife, Geneva; daughters, Barbara Combs & husband James of Washington Twp., Judith Alexander of Miami Two. and Joyce Crowe & husband Allan of Miami Twp.; sister, Ruby Cecil of New Carlisle; grandchildren, Cheryl, Jimmy, Paul, Becky, Donnie, David, Jonathan and Jenna; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Andy was a member of First Baptist Church of West Carrollton and Alpha Lodge #729 F & AM. He was a veteran of WWII and a Purple Heart recipient. He was also a member of the 30 Year Club at Inland Division of General Motors.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Thursday at Tobias Funeral Home, Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. with Pastor Mark Scroggins officiating. Burial in David's Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-9 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. He was deeply loved by his family and happily went to be with the Lord. The family wishes special thanks to the Intensive Care Nures and Doctors at Miami Valley Hospital.
