On December 22, 1898, Frances and Ola Pehrson Olson were married. Ola was the son of Ola and Sissa Nilsson Pehrson. He came from Sweden with his mother when he was five years of age. As a young man, he worked in Canada for a time, and then returned to Millville.
Ola was an industrious man and owned and farmed several hundred acres. He gained the name of "Ole Fiskin," because of his love for fishing. The untimely death of his wife, Rhoda, on October 5, 1902, when she was only thirty-four, was followed a month later by the death of their baby. Ola never remarried.
Their children were Lulu and Rhoda.
