MRS. CHARLEY SOUTHERLIN
Mrs. Georgia Bass Southerlin, 80, of Los Angeles, Calif., who was born and raised in Strafford, died in Los Angeles Tuesday after an illness of several months.
She had moved to California in 1919.
Mrs. Southerlin is survived by her husband, Charley; two sisters, Miss Hattie Bass, Strafford, Mrs. Ruth Dillard, Springfield; and two brothers, John A. Bass, 2211 north Jefferson, and Claude, Strafford.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Klingner.

STRAFFORD-- Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia (Bass) Southerlin, 80, of Los Angeles, a former resident of Strafford, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Klingner Chapel, Springfield, with the Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Bass Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Southerlin died Tuesday in Los Angeles after a lingering illness.
She worked as a spotter in a laundry. Rode the streetcar to work in Hollywood each day.
Although her husband Charles is shown on this stone, he is actually buried in Los Angeles. See his record in Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills.
