Julius Bernard Boxrud, 89, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 1972 at North Big Horn County Hospital in Lovell. He was born October 14, 1883 in Mankato, Minnesota to Mr. and Mrs. Mads Boxrud. He has been a resident of Big Horn County for 53 years. He married Delilia Davis September 30, 1943 in Billings, Montana. He was a member of the Lovell I.O.O.F. Lodge and a member of the Oddfellows Encampment of Powell, Wyoming.

He is survived by Delilia Boxrud, the widow, Mrs. Luella Wagner of Lovell, Mrs. Ione George of Casper, Wyoming, Mrs. Bernadine Jones of Lovell, and three step-children, Jack Davis of Bethel Island, California, Mrs. Lucille Hopster of Worland, Wyoming, and Mrs. Ruby Henson of Lovell, Wyoming and one sister, Mrs. Emma Bentall of Minneapolis, Minnesota, 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 1972 in the Lovell United Methodist Church with Reverend Howard P. Hunter officiating. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
