BERTL HANAU SCHIFFMAN, 92, of Memphis, homemaker, died Wednesday of heart disease at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Graveside services will be at noon Friday at Temple Israel Cemetery. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. She was a member of the Temple Israel Synagogue, Sisterhood, Hadassah and Salon Circle. Mrs. Schiffman, the widow of Fred Schiffman, leaves two daughters, Ellen Krane of Nashville and Susan Newman of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Flora Heimann of Memphis and Leo Han au of Naples, Fla.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
