Lawrence P. (Steve) LEE , 80, of Rt. 4, died at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at his home. He had been in failing health since April with a heart condition. He was born Nov. 20, 1898 in Eklin, Ind., son of James and Ida (STARETT) Lee. He was a retired carpenter. He was married on June 27, 1932 to Dorothy Irena Koch, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter Patricia, a teacher at Lima Senior High School; three brothers, Lester of Atlanta, Ind., George of Inglewood, Calif., and John of Port Elizabeth, Africa. Mr. Lee was a member of Hume Methodist Church and Pickard Lodge 69, F&AM at Pickard, Ind.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bayliff and Sons Funeral Home, Cridersville, with Rev. Lawrence Cordrey officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight. Masonic rites will be conducted at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Saturday.
