Elizabeth (Lizzie) Bryan, born 1839 in England, came to San Francisco with other members of her family, Sarah Ann, Charles Henry, Sophia, and William John. They arrived first in Georgia and made their way to San Francisco in 1851 according to William John's obituary. Sarah Ann married W. H. Wood, a druggist and both Charles and William lived with them in 1860.
Elizabeth married Aaron Doud, 4 June 1859. She died of Puerperal Peritonitis 4 days after her new born daughter and they were buried in the Masonic Cemetery, along with daughter Flora Bell (1866-1886) and Lillian Saramantha (1865-1865) . The family, including Aaron Doud (1833-1901) were all removed to Olivet Memorial Park but without any grave markers.
