Mildred Aleene Dickey, born January 13, 1916, passed away peacefully in Stillwater, Oklahoma on December 28, 1998, after a short illness. She was 82 years young. The loving wife of the late William J. Dickey Jr. of Oklahoma City. She and her husband operated grocery stores in Oklahoma City for many years. She is survived by her three sons: Bill of Foster City, California, Bob of Oklahoma City and John of Stillwater and daughters-in-law, Sue, Judy and Georgann. She was the caring sister of Jess, Charlie, Allie, Farl, Jack, Ruby and Zella Epperson. She was the grandmother of Chris, Jeff, Mindy, Matthew, David Jonathan, Taylor and Michael and the great grandmother of Bailey.
Mildred was the daughter of Nellie May Sanders and Ruben Epperson. Friends are invited to attend a graveside celebration of life which will be held at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 8801 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, on January 2, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. The family requests donations in her name to the Hillcrest Baptist Church Upward Together by Faith Fund, 902 North Washington, Stillwater, Oklahoma. Under the direction of Strode Funeral Home.
