"Sue Trinkle Schott, 75, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, of Roanoke, Va., passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009. She was the daughter of the late E. Lee Trinkle Jr., and Dorothy Kidd Trinkle; and a granddaughter of the Former Commonwealth of Virginia Governor, E. Lee Trinkle. Mrs. Schott was a member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. She enjoyed her flowers and was a member of Mill Mountain Garden Club and the Nancy Christian Fleming of the D.A.R. chapter 2-081-VA District VII. Survivors include her husband, Arthur (Art) Schott; and their children and spouses, . . . A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Nixon Negparanon officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local garden club. Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 318 Church Avenue, SW., Roanoke, Va. is in charge of the arrangements, 982-2100." Note: Third husband Arthur Kennedy "Art" Schott, d. 28 Jan 2014, Greensboro, NC. As both his wives are buried at St. Paul the Apostle, maybe he is, too.
