She married Homer Aron Asay, March 17, 1916 in Lovell, Wyoming. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1955.
Most of her life was spent as a housewife, farming with her husband in the Kane area and Tensleep area of Wyoming. She is a member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Doris Allphin of Lovell, Zelpha Averett of Lovell, and Sylva Dobbins of Englewood, California; 4 sisters, Sylva Wilder of Lovell, Venessa Gibson of Greely, Colorado, Delpha Orcutt of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Ireta Mills of Worland, 3 brothers, Levi and Earnest of Lovell and Merlin of Mesa, Arizona; 8 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
