Mr. Weed, who died Thursday, was born and raised in Oroville, Washington.
He moved to Deer Park/Spokane and worked as a driver for a company collecting milk for processing at Darigold.
Mr. Weed became a union truck driver in the mid-1950s in heavy highway construction. He retired in 1986 due to health reasons.
Mr. Weed was a member of Teamsters Local 690 for over 35 years.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Betty L. Weed; two sons, Ronald Weed and Thomas Weed Jr., both of Spokane; two daughters, Tammy Boling and Pamela Haslett, both of Spokane; two sisters, Mary Shepard of Ocean Park, Washington, and Dottie Williams of Spokane; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
