Esther Christen Hansen, daughter of Ole and Annie (Bjornson) Hansen, was born
July 9, 1885, in Louville, Wisconsin. In October of 1915, she was married to
Selmer Abrahamson in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In 1928 she moved from Hanley Falls, Minnesota, to Cyrus, Minnesota, and
remained there until 1944 when she and her family moved to St. Paul, Minnesota.
She worked for a number of years at the Golden Rule Department Store, while
residing in St. Paul.
For the past months Mrs. Abrahamson and her husband, Selmer, have been residents
of the Clarkfield Care Center.
Mrs. Abrahamson passed away at the Clarkfield Memorial Hospital on Sunday,
October 28, 1973, at the age of 88 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Elaine Spaulding.
Survivors include her husband, Selmer, of the Clarkfield Care Center, two sons,
Orice and Alton, both of St. Paul, five grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
